A concession card enables the person named on the card to travel at either a concession rate or free of charge on Adelaide Metro services.
All persons 15 years of age or over, pay regular full fares unless a current concession card is carried at the time of travelling and produced when requested by an authorised person.

You must have your concession card with you whenever you are travelling on a concession fare.
The below groups can travel on concession rates:

South Australian DVA Gold Card | If the DVA Gold Card is embossed with ‘TPI’ or the hard holder has obtained a letter of eligibility from DVA then they are entitled to free travel at all times. |

| SAPOL | All SAPOL officers may travel free on public transport, in uniform or casual clothing. |
When you buy a new concession metroCARD (excluding Seniors Card), you pay $3.50 for the physical card and need to load a minimum of $5 to it before you can use it. You can recharge it in blocks of $5, up to $200.
