From first service until last service Saturday, 1 March 2025, there will be a temporary partial line closure of the Gawler rail line. This closure will allow for signalling works on the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project.

During the line closure, trains will continue to operate between Salisbury Railway Station and Gawler Central Railway Station. Substitute buses will operate and replace train services travelling from Adelaide Railway Station to Salisbury Railway Station in both directions.

The table below includes the closed railway stations and the substitute bus stop locations where passengers can access services:

• GA1 all stopping service operates between Adelaide Railway Station and Salisbury Station
• GA2 express service operates between Adelaide Railway Station and Salisbury Station

Substitute bus services will operate as closely as possible to the train timetables for the duration of the closure. However, passengers are encouraged to plan ahead as substitute bus services can be slower to destinations due to traffic conditions, roadworks and accidents.
