Eyre and Western transport services
The Eyre and Western transport services covers regions in Port Lincoln, Whyalla and Port Augusta. Routes via schools, city centres and services to metropolitan Adelaide are available below.
When you visit Port Lincoln, there are two transport services throughout the township. Dedicated school services are available to students around Port Lincoln, as well as regular services through the Dial-a-Ride bus for other members of the town.
Port Lincoln bus services include:
- North-west area school Service.
- South-east area school Service.
- Port Lincoln Dial-a-Ride.

The City of Whyalla has a range of bus routes provided by Des’s Transport.
The Whyalla bus service routes include:
- Route 1: Post office to Westlands Shopping Centre via Elliot Street, Lacey Street and Jenkins Avenue.
- Route 2: Post office to Westlands Shopping Centre via Bradford Street, Nicholson Avenue and Mills Street.
- Route 3: Post office to Westland Shopping Centre via Hambidge Terrace, Elliot Street and Jackson Avenue.
- Route 4: Loop service from Westlands Shopping Centre via Eyre Avenue.
- Route 5: Loop service via Bastyan Crescent and Risby Avenue.
- Route 6: Loop service via Cartledge Avenue.
- Route 7: Post office to Bedford Group.
- Route 8: Westlands Shopping Centre to Mallaquana.

Bus services via Port Augusta to Adelaide are operated weekly by Premier Stateliner. Passengers can catch this service at nominated towns along the route but must book a bus fare in advance.
Routes travelling via Port Augusta include:
- 1000: Adelaide to Whyalla via Lochiel.
- 1001: Adelaide to Port Lincoln.
- 1002: Adelaide to Whyalla via Port Broughton.
- 1003: Port Augusta to Ceduna*
- *Transfers are available at Port Augusta for passengers travelling between Adelaide and Ceduna.
