Using your 3-Day Visitor Pass

How to validate

Simply touch your Visitor Pass on the yellow validator as you board each bus, train or tram and when you enter or exit gated railway stations.

When you successfully validate, a green light will be displayed along with your 3-Day Visitor Pass expiry date. The validator will display a red light if your card has expired or is out of credit.

How to recharge after your 3-Day Visitor Pass has expired

If you decide to extend your stay in Adelaide, or come back another time, you can still use your Visitor Pass. Just add regular metroCARD credit at any of the following locations:

• Over 300 recharge agents
• The Adelaide Metro InfoCentre in Adelaide Railway Station, North Terrace, Adelaide
• Recharge machines on-board trains and trams, and at major stops, stations and interchanges.

Once your  metroCARD is recharged, regular fares apply. Each time you travel the appropriate fare will be deducted from your card balance.
