Residents of The Boulevard in Parafield Gardens can look forward to improved access to public transport, with the State Government committing to the introduction of new stops and improved services by mid-2025.

The new initiative will include 9 new bus stops installed along The Boulevard, Rundle Drive, Martins Road, and Shepherdson Road, significantly enhancing public transport accessibility for the local community, including nearby residents of The Gardens Lifestyle Retirement Village

Impacted services

Route 411 will continue to operate between Salisbury and Mawson Lakes via The Boulevard, maintaining its current frequency and service level. However, to accommodate the updated route, the 411 will no longer service stops along Shepherdson Road between The Boulevard and Martins Road.

To ensure continued access for affected residents, Route 404R will be amended to cover the northern side of Shepherdson Road, taking over stops no longer served by the 411.

The changes reflect the government’s commitment to improving public transport infrastructure and providing more convenient travel options for Parafield Gardens residents.
