Adelaide Metro bus and tram services are modified over the festive period each year due to significantly lower than normal patronage, with up to 50 per cent fewer passengers travelling during these days.
Because of this, Adelaide Metro will operate reduced bus and tram services on:
Saturday, Sunday and public holiday timetables will operate on other days over the Christmas and New Year period.
A small number of peak trams will not be operating, however, services will still be running every 10 minutes from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm on the Botanic Line and between Glenelg and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Trains will continue to operate to their regular timetables during this period.
