Adelaide Metro and the City of Adelaide are excited to introduce the new Home Zone in the city, a dedicated late night bus stop and ride collection zone at locations in Currie and King William Street.
After Midnight late night buses and a dedicated ride collection point every Saturday night.

What is the Home Zone?
The Home Zone is a central city location offering four key After Midnight late night bus stops plus a dedicated ride collection point where you can wait together for transport home late on a Saturday night.
This active zone offers CCTV, good lighting and Police patrols to keep you safer until your night bus or ride home arrives.
The Home Zone operates on King William and Currie Streets from 12am to 6am every Saturday night and provides a safer place to wait for your transport home.

After Midnight buses
After Midnight buses are special Adelaide Metro buses that operate between 12am and 5am every Saturday night from the city to various locations around metropolitan Adelaide.
After Midnight buses depart from four key bus stops in the Home Zone (PDF 450kb), depending on where you want to travel, with other city bus stops (PDF 268kb) also available for After Midnight buses.
After Midnight buses run to the north, south, east and west of Adelaide and can drop you off at brightly lit locations such as 24 hour service stations and fast food outlets.

Catch an After Midnight bus for the price of a metroCARD trip or buy a ticket from the driver on board. Cash only and please have small notes or change.

N502 to Salisbury via O-Bahn to Paradise then Bridge Road

Returns as N542 to Tea Tree Plaza via Tea Tree Gully on request.
N864 to Mount Barker via Glen Osmond, Crafers, Stirling, Hahndorf & Bridgewater

Plan your After Midnight bus journey anytime
Use the Adelaide Metro Journey Planner to plan your trip into the city, and then home again from the Home Zone.
You can plan your journey at any time of any day, just enter the times you want to travel on a Saturday night (Sunday morning) or get your journey details as you're ready to go.
Travel to the city
Go to the Journey Planner to enter your departure address and arrival point in Adelaide.
Select "Departing" from the drop down menu, enter the time and date you want to travel then click "Plan my journey" to see After Midnight buses to get you to town.
Heading home

When it's time to head home, go to the Journey Planner and click on "Your location" in the "From" field, enter where you are travelling to and select "Leave now" from the drop down menu to see the details of your next trip home.
Remember to enter the Sunday date to ensure you get After Midnight bus times.
Get a lift home from our dedicated ride collection point
Head to the ride collection point in Currie Street at bus stop E2 to wait for your ride. Call mum or dad, ring a mate or request a taxi or your favourite ride share to pick you up.
The Home Zone ride collection point is available from 12am to 6am every Saturday night and provides CCTV and lighting, access to nearby toilets and is on the SA Police patrol route.
So remember … if you’re heading out for a Saturday night in town, head to the Home Zone when its home time.
