Temporary partial Belair line closure
When: From Thursday 21 January 2021 to Tuesday 26 January 2021
Affecting: BEL
The Belair line will be temporarily closed between Blackwood Station and Belair Station from first service Thursday 21 January last service to Tuesday 26 January 2021, with substitute buses in place.
Trains will continue to run between Blackwood Station and Adelaide Railway Station.
The partial closure will facilitate works for the Pinera Bridge Repainting Project that cannot be safely undertaken with trains running.
Location: Partial closure of the Belair line between Blackwood Station and Belair Station.
Passenger services: Substitute buses will be in place along the closed section of track (between Blackwood Station and Belair Station). Trains will continue to operate between Blackwood Station and Adelaide Railway Station.

Substitute bus services will operate as closely as possible to the train timetable for the duration of the closure, meeting the arrival and departures of train services at Blackwood station.
The substitute bus stops will be positioned as close to railway stations as practicable. These stations and stops are outlined in the timetables below.

Wheelchair Passengers
All timetabled bus substitute services are accessible for all customers, including the elderly, customers with a disability and those travelling with prams.
Bicycle Passengers
Bicycles are not permitted on bus substitute services.
Resume services
Trains will then resume their normal services from first service Wednesday 27 January.
