Temporary access changes to Adelaide Railway Station

When: From Monday 3 May 2021

Affecting: SEAFRD, FLNDRS, BEL, OUTHA, GRNG

Due to Renewal SAs Adelaide Railway Station Rejuvenation Project, there will be restricted access to Adelaide Railway Station during May and June 2021.

Certain entry and exit areas will be closed during the below timeframes:

Stage 1 - stairs and escalators

  • The stairs and escalators at the main entrance (western side on North Terrace, nearest the InterContinental Hotel) will be closed from Monday 3 May, for approximately four weeks.
  • The ramp (on the eastern side on North Terrace, nearest Parliament House) will remain open during this time.

Stage 2 - ramp

  • The ramp (on the eastern side on North Terrace, nearest Parliament House) will then close in June.
  • The stairs and escalators at the main entrance (western side on North Terrace, nearest the InterContinental Hotel) will then be open during this time.

The lift to North Terrace, as well as the underpass to Station Arcade and Hindley Street, will continue to be open throughout all of these works.

Please keep the above in mind when planning your journey, and allow for extra travel time if needed.
