After Midnight Service Information
Bus Services
After Midnight bus services operate Saturday night/Sunday
morning only. Buses use the same route numbers as regular
daytime services, with an N before the number. All buses travel
along the regular bus route, with some detouring to major
destinations such as Glenelg and Marion Shopping Centre.
After Midnight services operate in both directions, making it
safe and easy for you to get around after midnight.
The After Midnight timetables can be viewed using the Timetable Quick Finder.
Ticket Prices
After Midnight services are Metroticket services so use your Multitrip or buy a ticket on board.
Safe Travel
After Midnight services will pick you up at regular bus stops along the route. When catching the bus make sure you clearly hail the bus so that the driver is aware you wish to board. Message from the Motor Accident Commission
Enjoy the ride!
After Midnight bus services are a joint initiative of the
Adelaide Metro and the Motor Accident Commission (MAC).
The After Midnight bus service has been developed to offer
you a safe and convenient way to get home after a great
night out! Unfortunately, over 8,500 people are injured
or killed on SA roads each year, and over half of all serious
casualties in metropolitan Adelaide occur between Midnight
and 5 am.
What is MAC?
MAC is SA’s Compulsory Third Party Insurer and provides
compensation and assistance to thousands of road crash
victims every year. MAC is also focused on contributing to a
reduction in the frequency and impact of road injury, trauma
and deaths in South Australia.
MAC and the Government of South Australia bring you the road safety messages you see on TV, read in the paper and hear on the radio. Additionally, MAC contributes over $2 million to sponsor more than twenty road safety initiatives across the State.
