Trams and buses SA Museum

Adelaide Metro’s FREE City Services use both buses and trams.

Both offer low floor easy to access trams and buses and are fully air conditioned, taking you direct to many of Adelaide’s great attractions.

South Terrace to Entertainment Centre Tram FREE

The free city tram service to the Entertainment Centre is now permanent, meaning you can continue to catch a tram between South Terrace and the Entertainment Centre at no cost.

Jetty Road

Travel along Jetty Road, Glenelg is free of charge. For full Terrace to Terrace times, see the separate Glenelg tram timetable.

For travel between South Terrace and Glenelg you’ll need a Metroticket.

  • Monday to Friday:
    8 am - 6 pm: every 7.5 minutes on average


  • Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays:
  • 9 am - 6 pm: every 15 minutes approximately

    Other times to Midnight:
    Every 20 minutes approximately

The Adelaide FREE 99C City Loop services take you on a loop around the City taking in the SA Museum, State Library, Art Gallery, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Botanic Gardens, Rundle Street (East End), Tandanya Aboriginal Culture Gallery, the Central Markets, the Hindley Street precinct, UniSA and Adelaide Universities.
