Student Conduct on Public Transport
When you're on Public Transport...
turn on to other people's needs.
A bus, train or tram is a confined space where people are in close contact and individual actions can affect others.
- Keep bags and bodies out of people's way.
- Loud voices, loud music and loud language offend some people - the ride home might be the only quiet time in their day!
- Keep it smoke free - it's heaps healthier.
- Litter & food scraps look better in a bin... not on public transport.
- Alcohol and non-prescription illegal drugs don't belong on public transport.
- Some people may have difficulty standing on the bus, especially if they are elderly, pregnant, have a disability or are injured - give 'em a seat and they'll really appreciate it!
- Do the right thing and you'll avoid the hassles from school, home and the law.
Thanks!
