How to make travelling on the Adelaide Metro easy! |
| Get up and go on the Adelaide Metro! |
There’s never been a better time to catch a bus, train or tram. With petrol and car parking more expensive than ever, public transport represents much better value for money than a private car.
Many Adelaide Metro services are air-conditioned and fully accessible with wheelchair ramps and low floors to make getting on and off the bus easier, and with over 230 metropolitan routes and over 7,500 stops, you’re never far from the Adelaide Metro!
From as little as $1.90* you can travel from Mt Barker to Gawler, or from Gawler to Sellicks Beach and most places in between. Adelaide Metro offers discounts to concession card holders. So why not explore the metro area on the Adelaide Metro today?
*Based on the cost of a Peak Concession Singletrip ticket, which is valid within a two hour time frame (Jul 06). |
| Where do I get my ticket? |
Singletrip and Daytrip tickets are available from drivers on all buses, from conductors on all trams and from Ticket Vending Machines on all trains. Note: Ticket Vending Machines on trains do not accept notes. They accept $2, $1, 50c, 20c and 10c coins, but not 5c coins.
You can save on the cost of a Singletrip ticket by purchasing a Multitrip or Daytrip ticket. A Multitrip ticket offers great value and convenience. When you buy a Multitrip you get ten trips for less than the price of seven! A Daytrip ticket allows unlimited travel and transfers on the Adelaide Metro system from the time of validation until 4.30am in the morning! Multitrip tickets are not available for purchase on buses, trams or trains.
