| Adelaide Metro going in to bat for the David Hookes Foundation |
The organ donor message has hit the streets of Adelaide with the launch of a new look Adelaide Metro bus promoting the David Hookes Foundation.
A unique partnership between the State Government and the David Hookes Foundation has combined one of Adelaide Metro's finest new buses, the Scania Combo articulated bus with the organ donor awareness message.
This bus features distinctive all over graphics of the David Hookes Foundation, including the Free Call registration phone number with website address and organ donation brochures available on board.
The happy face of a team of inspiring organ transplant recipients grace the side of the bus and really bring the message home about organ donation.

The David Hookes Foundation bus will be in use along the highly patronised Henley Beach Road and The Parade, Norwood transport corridors, travelling through the City. Transport Minister Trish White says, "By supporting the David Hookes Foundation in this way, the State Government is assisting to further promote the message of organ donation. Increasing organ donation rates is a national priority."
The Scania bus is the first of 169 new Scania buses worth $81.8million to come on line over the next five years. The Scania
Combo is the first of its model to be commercially produced in the world.
