Adelaide Metro leads and participates in a wide range of local community group activities.

A special event for people who use mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walking frames, to practice accessing trains, trams, buses and access taxis in a supported environment.

This is an initiative supported by the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI).

Community volunteer program

Community Volunteer Groups

For more than two decades, Adelaide Metro has supported individuals and community groups to care for their local tram stops and train stations.

With more than 82 stations and 28 stops, there are dozens of hard working volunteer groups making their public transport environment more pleasant for everyone.
